Every dream has a story, and sometimes life gives us the push to stop waiting and start chasing it.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of owning a boutique—something I planned to pursue after retiring from my career. But when I faced the possibility of a layoff, I asked myself: Why wait?
So I took a leap of faith and brought The Shaggy Cow Boutique to life.
So, Why “The Shaggy Cow”?
When my youngest son was three, he started calling me his “Shaggy Cow.” I can thank the Wild Kratts for that silly, sweet nickname. He’s eight now, and every once in a while, he still calls me “Moo Moo.”
When it came time to name my boutique, I couldn’t imagine anything more meaningful. What began as a funny nickname became the name of a dream.
More Than Just a Boutique
The Shaggy Cow is more than a place to shop. It’s a reminder that dreams don’t have an expiration date and that unexpected moments can lead us somewhere wonderful.
